On May 6^th, K93 will host a private screening for the lucky winners of their contest. K93 is giving away 93 pairs of tickets to view this brand new feature film at the Grand Cinema 3. “Plaster Rock – Terror On the Tobique” was filmed in Riley Brook, NB, in December 2009.  It is the latest completed production by Global Universal Pictures. In New Brunswick (“Blue Seduction”, starring Billy Zane and Estella Warren and also “American Sunset“, starring Corey Haim, Frank Molina, Angela Cullins and Bernard Robichaud ). Currently in post-production is another thriller-horror called “The Night“, produced by Jackie Giroux and directed by Shari Hamrick.

The story of Plaster Rock begins as a test of athletic prowess becomes a quest for discovery just to stay alive!  Four young men and women are boated into a hunting lodge in the wilds of northern New Brunswick to partake in a cross country ski race, which the winner expects to reap a cash prize of $250,000.

Each contestant is a former athlete or high-profile celebrity who has already received $20,000 for their time just to travel and enter the race in the desolate area. The only problem is, once left at the lodge by boat, there is no way out, and each contestant begins to realize they have more at stake than the cash prize.

Plaster Rock is a fast-paced thriller-horror film which takes place in remote wilderness where you need more than luck to survive!
