Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – July 22, 2010 — Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded entertainment company (OTCBB: GBHL), and Global Universal Pictures (Global Pictures), GBHL’s Canadian production affiliate, are pleased to announce that they have started pre-production on the sequel to Plaster Rock – Terror on the Tobique, which was released in May, 2010.

“We have arranged our production financing for Plaster Rock II, the sequel to Plaster Rock, and plan to start principal photography as early as this September”, according to Benoit Martin, who is writing the script for Global Universal.

Plaster Rock II will be filmed entirely on location in New Brunswick, Canada. The Plaster Rock theme is a fast-paced thriller-horror film which takes place in remote wilderness where you need more than luck to survive!

“Our financial strategy of mitigating investment risk while maintaining a lucrative upside potential is, evidently, successful and holds true for our film productions in Canada as well as in the U.S. This will be our 5th film production in just under 2 years”, commented Gary Rasmussen, CEO of Global Entertainment Holdings.

“This blueprint for success has become a bankable trademark for Global Universal, as we have successfully financed and completed all of our films ‘on time and on budget’, while putting out a product that has now warranted a sequel”, stated the film’s producer and former director of Plaster Rock, Jackie Giroux.

Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – June 14, 2010 — Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc. a publicly traded entertainment Company (OTC: GBHL), and Global Universal Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GBHL, announced today that it has purchased the film production, distribution, merchandising and licensing rights for “Seeing Things”, a supernatural thriller based on actual events, written by John Huckert and John Matkowsky.

Huckert is set to Direct the supernatural thriller with Matkowsky as his Director of Photographer. Eric A. Leffler, Director of Business Development for Global Universal Film Group, and Gary Rasmussen, CEO GBHL, are the Executive Producers.

GBHL CEO and Executive Producer, Gary Rasmussen said “We are very excited about acquiring Seeing Things for our next feature film production and plans are under way to begin production this Fall in Michigan. Given the worldwide mass appeal of films in this genre, like Paranormal Activity and Blair Witch (with estimated budgets under $100,000 and gross revenues of well beyond $100 Million), I believe Seeing Things will have an excellent chance of success at the box office.”
“Seeing Things is a Ghost story that is based on actually events that are truly amazing and well documented by the Fox TV reality show SIGHTINGS, renowned spiritualist and psychic Peter James, as well as by the many photographs taken by Huckert and Matkowsky. If you had any doubts about the afterlife, then you need to see this story”, says Executive Producer Eric A. Leffler, Director of Business Development for Global Universal Film Group.

In late 1992, two residents living in an old house in the Hills of Los Angeles begin receiving ghostly messages in Polaroid photographs. The pair took many photos inside the house in the hopes of obtaining a picture of the entity they believed haunted the house. Eventually, ghostly images appeared and the men soon discovered that if they asked questions about the entity and why it inhabited their house, words and messages appeared on the photos in response. Since the first messages appeared, many thousands of photos have captured the spirit’s messages on a variety of subjects of interest to mankind. Additional information on Seeing Things can be found at: http://www.drkrm.com/ghost2.html

Daniel Sherkow, COO of Global Universal Entertainment, further commented “Our financing methods, which significantly mitigate investment risk, have certainly been proven sound. Four major motion pictures financed and completed in just eighteen months in this uncertain economy speaks volumes as to our development strategy. The strong interest in our Murder/Horror thriller Plaster Rock, has shown us that this genre is desired by a large segment of the movie-going population. I won’t give away too much of the movie but Seeing Things is based on actual happenings over the past 18 years.”

The state of Michigan has made available tax credits which will underwrite a significant portion of the cost of the production of Seeing Things. GBHL’s first four motion pictures were produced in Canada using the same tax credit, leveraged financing strategy.

Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – April 12, 2010 — Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded entertainment Company (OTCBB: GBHL), and Global Universal Pictures (Global Pictures), GBHL’s Canadian production affiliate, are pleased to announce completion of The Night, their fourth feature-length film produced in roughly sixteen months.

“Wow! Was it ever cold!” Stated Jackie Giroux, President of Global Universal, as well as the writer and producer of The Night. “And, this being a ghost story, our cast took advantage of those cold, dark and dreary 3 AM screen calls to play their roles with such realism that they’re well worth the ticket price.”

The Night, filmed entirely on location in Grand Falls, Canada (in the province of New Brunswick), continued the blueprint of success that has become a bankable trademark of GBHL and the Global Universal family of companies. “We have successfully employed our financial strategy to complete 4 films in just under a year and a half, while most other independent film companies have struggled for years to produce just one film”, stated Eric A. Leffler, Business Development Officer of Global Universal Film Group, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary and the sales & marketing arm of GBHL. “Our financial strategy mitigates our investors’ risk while providing a lucrative potential upside and is, evidently, very attractive. This holds true for our film productions in Canada as well as in the U.S.”

Ms. Giroux stated that, “SCI-FI television star Lex Goderoff, co-starring with Lalesha Railsback, Jimmy McKinley, Angele Bourgeous and Ian Hamrick as the ghost “Rodney”, combined to make an intense, first-class thriller.” Shari Hamrick directed, with Trevor Richardson and Gary Rasmussen, GBHL CEO, as Executive Producers. “Not only will the audience appreciate the production value of The Night, but they will believe in and sympathize with the characters. Hopefully, it will scare the pants off ‘em.”

Gary Rasmussen commented, “Four feature-length films in sixteen months, shows that our financing model, designed to mitigate risk for the investor, while producing quality motion pictures, is certainly working and is attracting the interest of global distribution partners.”

Mr. Rasmussen further stated, “It is well worth a quick review of the success of these four film ventures. Blue Seduction, starring Billy Zane and Estella Warren and distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment and global entertainment leader Starz Media. American Sunset, starring the late Corey Haim, will premiere this May at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Plaster Rock, which is already receiving commercial interest and has a limited theatrical release in Canada scheduled for early May, and now, The Night.”

An example of the interest that such success has attracted, is the partnership entered into by President and CEO of Global Renaissance Entertainment Group, Inc. (GREG), Arthur Wylie, a highly successful business investor in film, real estate, and financial service companies.

GBHL, Mr. Wylie and Omar Tyree, the New York Times bestselling author, whose works have been read by millions, structured an exclusive deal to adapt his popular novels into film. Leslie, a supernatural thriller set in New Orleans, is the first of Tyree’s novels being adapted to film by the GBHL/ GREG joint venture and is in development for the last quarter of 2010.

Mr. Rasmussen stated, “The confidence shown by successful business professionals, global film distributors and well known actors and directors is not only gratifying for all the efforts made to produce such quality films, but is extremely satisfying in proving the soundness of our financing and production strategies.”

Jackie Giroux, President of Global Universal Pictures, and the writer and producer of American Sunset stated, “Corey was simply a delight to work with on American Sunset.

Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – February 24, 2010 — Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc. a publicly traded entertainment Company (OTCBB: GBHL), announced that successful motion picture and television producer Daniel A. Sherkow is now the Chief Operating Officer of Global Universal Entertainment, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary and the U.S. production arm of GBHL.

GBHL CEO Gary Rasmussen said “Our U.S. film operations will now be lead by a man that knows every facet of the entertainment and motion picture business. Dan has arranged financing and produced successful and award winning films for ABC, NBC and CBS television, Time-Life Films, Paramount Pictures, Tri-Star Pictures, and Dick Clark Productions. Dan has also produced numerous successful Broadway projects and has advised foreign concerns such as Seoul Movie, the Korean animation company and The China Film Group, Corp., the official government agency of The People’s Republic of China, on financing, distribution and production of major motion pictures.”

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (BFA)/Honors, Mr. Sherkow entered the Graduate School of Business Administration at Harvard University where he earned an MBA.

Following senior management positions at NBC Television and Time-Life Films, and then Vice President, Production at Paramount Pictures and Tri-Star Pictures, Mr. Sherkow produced the feature motion picture “SUSPECT,” written by Eric Roth (“FORREST GUMP”) and starring Cher, Dennis Quaid, and Liam Neeson. Mr. Sherkow funded and produced “AMERICAN BUILT”/”RACE FOR GLORY”; and “IMPROMPTU”, which opened to universal acclaim and won the prestigious Houston WorldFest Award as “Audience Favorite”. “IMPROMPTU”, starring Judy Davis, Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Mandy Patinkin, Bernadette Peters and Julian Sands, marked the film directorial debut of noted Broadway stage director, Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner, James Lapine (“SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE”). Following its theatrical release and extraordinarily successful video/DVD distribution, “IMPROMPTU” was telecast on the prestigious Public Broadcasting System (PBS) show “Masterpiece Theatre”.

Mr. Sherkow recently financed and produced the feature motion picture “BEING MICHAEL MADSEN”, starring Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Harry Dean Stanton, Virginia Madsen, and David Carradine. “BEING MICHAEL MADSEN” was a featured official submission at the largest independent film festival in Europe, the Raindance Film Festival in London, and at the Starz Denver International Film Festival and San Francisco International Film Festival. “BEING MICHAEL MADSEN” was also selected to screen in the prestigious “Outside the Box (Office)” series at the USC School of Cinema in Los Angeles.

Mr. Sherkow has produced the Made-For-TV-Movies “DONOR”, starring Melissa Gilbert and Jack Scalia, as Executive Producer for CBS Entertainment;”ELVIS AND THE COLONEL: THE UNTOLD STORY”, starring Beau Bridges for Dick Clark Productions and NBC; and served as Executive Producer for “ALL LIES END IN MURDER”, starring Kim Delaney and Jamey Sheridan (“LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT”) for ABC-TV.

Broadway stage projects have included “AGNES OF GOD”, starring Elizabeth Ashley and Amanda Plummer, “MY ONE AND ONLY”, starring Twiggy and Tommy Tune, as well as “THE SLAB BOYS” with Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon, Val Kilmer, and Jackie Earle Haley, Jr., which Mr. Sherkow produced on behalf of Paramount Pictures.

GBHL through its partially owned subsidiary, Global Universal Pictures has produced three successful feature length films. Blue Seduction starring Billy Zane and Estella Warren. American Sunset starring Corey Haim and the thriller Plaster Rock. Pre-production activities have started on a fourth feature length motion picture tentatively titled “The Dark.”

Global Universal Entertainment COO, Daniel A. Sherkow stated “Our unique financing strategy coupled with mitigating investor risk has certainly been proven correct. Three major motion pictures financed and completed in less than fifteen months in this uncertain economy speaks volumes as to the GBHL development strategy. GBHL’s first two pictures, Blue Seduction and American Sunset have been successful and we expect continued success and profitability with the Murder/Horror thriller Plaster Rock.”

Mr. Sherkow further stated “Joining the Global Universal team was an easy decision. The people involved with GBHL have, literally, a lifetime of experience in the film business and their reputations are impeccable. I wanted to get in on the ground floor to be a part of building a major motion picture company.”

You know what it’s like when you run into an athlete in public and in street clothes they look different “” that headhunting linebacker for the TiCats looks like an accountant and is not at all like you imagine him to be. The same thing goes for a lot of celebrities, politicians, and actors. But this is definitely not the case should you have a chance encounter with ‘Cyrus’ of the Trailer Park Boys. He looks the part almost all the time “” minus of course, the leather, guns, girls on each arm and making life hell for the TPB gang.

At 6′1″, 205 pounds, Bernie Robichaud is intimidating enough in casual attire, and creates space by just being there. He carries himself with a carriage of confidence and coolness that comes with the knowledge and experience of handling a given situation. It’s easy to see how he was cast as the character Cyrus just by conversing with him.

He can articulate with the best of them but to emphasize a point he reverts to his street roots and is apt to conclude a discussion on complicated regulations by saying “Bullshit! That’s crap and you know it!”

He listens intently to what he’s being asked, seems to be measuring the question’s worth before answering and stares directly with an intensity that is almost a glare. You get the feeling that if he wasn’t working a lot as Cyrus on TPB and life had turned just a bit he could have ended up exactly the same, only as the real deal.

So the secret to success is to develop a character based on your life, pitch it to a hit TV show and you’re in, right? Wrong! Robichaud’s road to obtaining recognition is so unorthodox it’s hard to put any sort of label on. The first indication of this is the fact he took up acting at the age of 25 after spending a transient, troubled adolescence to say the least.

Robichaud was born in Boston and grew up in Halifax where he attended J.L. Ilsley High in Halifax. Life at home was turbulent with an alcoholic father, who at one time had been a top-ranked hockey player and expected more from his son “” so much so that he spent the last couple of school years living with friends.

Like his father, Robichaud was a gifted athlete and excelled in hockey, basketball and golf.

“I learned at a young age that nothing would be just given to me so I had to work for everything and go get it,” said Robichaud. “It was tough on me, but like the times you rolled with the punches, picked up street savvy and made do.”

Tthis period of his life resulted in the highly-acclaimed play Kitchen Sports, which essentially was memoirs by Robichaud.

At this point in his life, outside of his passion for sports, there was no real role model or source of motivation that was pointing him in any particular direction.

“I would have to say that a couple of athletes caught my attention for similar reasons. They both were very successful in their respective sports against all odds. One was Nate Archibald, (who had an) NBA star-studded career despite being considered too short and Phil Esposito, hockey scoring wizard despite his awkward style and lousy skating as deemed by hockey experts.”

He decided to forgo university to look for a job and while working as a male model in Toronto he was told by an agent that he is missing his calling and should be an actor.

“I told him ’sure, me and 10 millions others,’” laughs Robichaud. “But it played on my mind and I thought ‘why not?’”

So it was off to Dalhousie to study theater and he was accepted into first year by Patrick Young, who felt Robichaud had raw talent but not to count on acting as a profession.

“A month into university, my voice teacher Dorothy Ward, who had taught voice at Stratford, took me aside and gave me the direction I really needed,” a grateful Robichaud recalls. “She said I was wasting my time in university and should have been placed in second year at the very least.”

Taking her advice to heart, Robichaud took private voice lessons and subsequently dropped out before the second term. Ward arranged for a job for him at the Neptune Theatre’s second stage where he was mentored by award winning director Tom Kerr.

“This man taught me everything, every little detail, and I soaked it in,” said Robichaud.

The following year Robichaud got a real break when CBC producer Sudsy Clarke asked him to play a major role which was in fact two major roles.

“I was the voice of Robert/Becky in a radio drama Becky’s Name. It was obvious my voice training paid off as I was able to cover a wide range of different voices, accents and dialects,” said Robichaud. “In fact, I impressed Mr. Clarke and award-winning playwright Kent Stenson so much with my voice versatility that they wrote ACTRA lobbying on my behalf for union affiliation. The end result was I was working as a professional a year and a half before the rest of my class graduated.” Prior to rocking the scene with Cyrus, Robichaud has had a very active career, which now spans over 25 years. He has shared screen time with Hollywood Icons like James Caan and Kathy Bates. His movies are numerous with many lead and co-lead roles included. His Trailer Park Boys adventures include The TPB 2008 special, the new TPB feature in theatres this fall playing the recurring role of Cyrus.

The last two years has brought film work for Robichaud in New Brunswick on two separate feature films through Global Universal Inc. First with Blue Seduction starring Billy Zane and Estella Warren where he played the role of Stanley Miles, Zane’s close personal friend. He has just wrapped American Sunset starring Corey Haim, Frank Molina and Angela Cullins. The feature film is a thriller extraordinaire and was shot in Fredericton and Moncton.

“Bernie has that dangerous and evil aura surrounding him that is essential to making him invaluable to my productions,” said producer Jackie Giroux.

“It doesn’t get any better than this, I live in Moncton, and shooting here and in Fredericton was great, bring em on,” states Robichaud.

Robichaud is encouraged by the inroads being made into attracting more production to New Brunswick.

“With forward-thinking producers like Giroux and veterans like Steve Mayhew seeing the great locations available and the expertise behind the camera and in technical capacity being available locally we are on an upswing,” he says. “But we lack the number of actors needed, if the powers to be would lift the restrictions and perhaps form a Maritime actor’s pool which would allow actors to work in each other’s provinces, align this with the tech expertise already in place and producers would be more willing to come here and film … Build a quality studio sound stage in Moncton or Fredericton and they will come! Infrastructure of this nature would benefit any production that comes to the populated major centers.”

While Robichaud awaits yet another Global Universal Inc. production later this summer he has his eyes fixed squarely on overseeing the ongoing screenwriting adaptation of his play Kitchen Sports. Tentative plans call for shooting to begin the fall of 2010.

“This is like a baby to me,” says Robichaud. “It’s my story and many others whose kitchen was the birthplace of myth, legend, disaster, just about anything you can think of. Here in the east, the kitchen symbolizes family harmony, discord, music, feast or famine, dreams built up or knocked down.

“Many a game has been replayed from many a vantage point with varying opinions depending on the pecking order or who happens to be in the room,” he says. “But is this thing we call sports but a metaphor for life? You will find out next fall!

“Now f*ck off, I got work to do!”

GBHL CEO Gary Rasmussen stated that “post production work has begun and Kaleidoscope Entertainment, the Canadian distributor for American Sunset, will begin working with the film’s sales agent, Global Universal Film Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of GBHL, on a release schedule that will occur later this year.”

Jacqueline Giroux, President of GUP, wrote American Sunset and co-produced the film with Marc Savoie of The Postman in Moncton, Canada, who is providing post-production services. Michael Masucci directed American Sunset.
The Company’s first feature length film, Blue Seduction, starred Billy Zane (Titanic, BloodRayne, Sniper) and Estella Warren (Planet of the Apes, Law & Order) and was directed by Timothy Bond. Blue Seduction is being distributed by Image in Media, Anchor Bay Entertainment and Starz Media

Mr. Rasmussen further commented, “With the start of distribution of Blue Seduction, the completion of American Sunset and pre-production started on our third film, GBHL’s financing strategy, which incorporates low investment risk with significant upside potential, is certainly being well received. I urge everyone to visit our website www.globaluniversal.com to keep abreast of our progress and view our latest trailers for an idea of the quality of films our team is producing.”

Ms. Giroux announced that, “We will be inviting our investors for a private screening of our films this July in Fredericton and Moncton, New Brunswick to introduce our Canadian Film Fund. The fund will allow investors to participate in both the common stock of GBHL, as well as an equity position in our continuing production of a slate of films for the coming year.”
