Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – July 22, 2010 — Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded entertainment company (OTCBB: GBHL), and Global Universal Pictures (Global Pictures), GBHL’s Canadian production affiliate, are pleased to announce that they have started pre-production on the sequel to Plaster Rock – Terror on the Tobique, which was released in May, 2010.

“We have arranged our production financing for Plaster Rock II, the sequel to Plaster Rock, and plan to start principal photography as early as this September”, according to Benoit Martin, who is writing the script for Global Universal.

Plaster Rock II will be filmed entirely on location in New Brunswick, Canada. The Plaster Rock theme is a fast-paced thriller-horror film which takes place in remote wilderness where you need more than luck to survive!

“Our financial strategy of mitigating investment risk while maintaining a lucrative upside potential is, evidently, successful and holds true for our film productions in Canada as well as in the U.S. This will be our 5th film production in just under 2 years”, commented Gary Rasmussen, CEO of Global Entertainment Holdings.

“This blueprint for success has become a bankable trademark for Global Universal, as we have successfully financed and completed all of our films ‘on time and on budget’, while putting out a product that has now warranted a sequel”, stated the film’s producer and former director of Plaster Rock, Jackie Giroux.

Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – July 7, 2010 — Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc. a publicly traded entertainment Company (OTCBB: GBHL), is pleased to announce that it has recently completed an exchange of shares with Arthur Wylie’s Global Renaissance Entertainment Group (GREG). This was the final step towards commencing activities under a Joint Venture company formed last October with GREG called “Global Renaissance Funding” (GRF). GRF is 51% owned by Global Entertainment Holdings and will endeavor to raise capital for a slate of films to be jointly produced by GREG and Global Universal Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GBHL, and with Global Universal Pictures, its 30% owned Canadian affiliate.

Gary Rasmussen, CEO for Global Entertainment Holdings, remarked that, “With the finalization of our Share Exchange agreement, Global Entertainment Holdings now owns an equity interest in GREG, an indirectly in the Omar Tyree properties, and GREG is now a significant shareholder in our public company, GBHL, providing both GREG and GBHL with a vested interest in one another.”

Last year, Mr. Wylie and Omar Tyree, the New York Times bestselling author, whose works have been read by millions, structured an exclusive deal to adapt his popular novels into film. Leslie, a supernatural thriller set in New Orleans, along with his best seller Flyy Girl are the first of Tyree’s novels to be adapted to film by GREG and to be funded through GRF. Omar Tyree books have been sold and read by over 8 million people. Leslie and loyal Flyy Girl readers will provide a “built-in” audience for the film.

Leslie is intended to be just one of several films planned for production this Fall at the newly formed Wylie Studios in Southeastern Michigan. Arthur Wylie, CEO of GREG, has begun securing production rights from many of Hollywood’s super-producers to produce high quality productions with better pricing. Plans are to operate from the 104-acre studio complex, which is located in the City of Allen Park, just ten miles outside of Detroit, Michigan, until they secure a more permanent site for their productions. What is now the studio complex was formerly the headquarters and warehouses of Montgomery Ward.

The vertical integration of the studio into the production structure of GRF and Global Universal will facilitate many upcoming film productions with reduced labor rates, hefty tax incentives from Michigan and enhanced production scheduling. “This paves the way for our companies to commence working on raising capital and starting the production of films in Michigan”, stated Gary Rasmussen, GBHL CEO.

A recent article in Crains Detroit Business News attests to the fact that Arthur Wylie and GREG have established a major presence in Allen Park, Michigan. “I believe that all businesses must get back to the fundamentals of business, financing and protecting investors’ equity, by utilizing a more efficient combination of debt, equity and tax incentives than typically structured by Hollywood”, stated Arthur Wylie, GREG CEO.

Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – July 06, 2010 – Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc. a publicly traded entertainment Company (OTCBB: GBHL), and its Canadian affiliate, Global Universal Pictures (“Global Pictures”), announced that it recently signed a Canadian broadcast deal that will allow Canwest Television Limited Partnership (“Canwest”, successor in interest to Canwest Media, Inc.) to broadcast American Sunset exclusively in Canada. The sale was arranged through Kaleidoscope Entertainment, Inc., based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as the Canadian distributor for American Sunset.

GBHL CEO, Gary Rasmussen said “We are pleased to announce this broadcast arrangement with Canwest as it marks the first firm commitment for the film. American Sunset had an exclusive screening at the Palais during the Cannes International Film Festival this past May and had audiences on the edge of their seats as they experienced the plot twists and turns of this exciting thriller! This prestigious exposure resulted in many potential sales opportunities worldwide for American Sunset, which our sales subsidiary Global Universal Film Group is actively following up on.” Mr. Rasmussen also stated “making the cover of the Cannes Market News on May 16 during the height of the Cannes festival garnished considerable international attention for American Sunset. Since this film is a product of Canada, and the late Corey Haim’s birthplace, it is truly fitting that we commence our subsequent sales efforts with a country wide broadcast for all Canadians to see.”

American Sunset starring the late Corey Haim and Frank Molina was directed by Michael Masucci and was also featured at the Canadian Pavilion at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival. Eric A. Leffler, executive producer, commented, “This was Corey Haim’s last film and we’re all delighted that his abilities as an adult lead actor were finally recognized during the exclusive screening of American Sunset at the Cannes festival. Audiences in France identified with Corey’s character and the harrowing experiences his character underwent, all skillfully portrayed by Corey as a matured actor. Hopefully soon, audiences worldwide will have the opportunity to enjoy his work and appreciate his special talent.”

During the Cannes International Film Festival, producer Jackelyn Giroux commented, “Myself, as well as the entire cast and crew, were deeply saddened by his untimely passing. Corey dubbed himself the ‘Comeback Kid’. Although he is gone, we are pleased that Canadians will have the first opportunity to enjoy Corey’s comeback efforts and see his great performance in this exciting film.”

Los Angeles, CA – (WORLD STOCK WIRE) – June 14, 2010 — Global Entertainment Holdings, Inc. a publicly traded entertainment Company (OTC: GBHL), and Global Universal Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GBHL, announced today that it has purchased the film production, distribution, merchandising and licensing rights for “Seeing Things”, a supernatural thriller based on actual events, written by John Huckert and John Matkowsky.

Huckert is set to Direct the supernatural thriller with Matkowsky as his Director of Photographer. Eric A. Leffler, Director of Business Development for Global Universal Film Group, and Gary Rasmussen, CEO GBHL, are the Executive Producers.

GBHL CEO and Executive Producer, Gary Rasmussen said “We are very excited about acquiring Seeing Things for our next feature film production and plans are under way to begin production this Fall in Michigan. Given the worldwide mass appeal of films in this genre, like Paranormal Activity and Blair Witch (with estimated budgets under $100,000 and gross revenues of well beyond $100 Million), I believe Seeing Things will have an excellent chance of success at the box office.”
“Seeing Things is a Ghost story that is based on actually events that are truly amazing and well documented by the Fox TV reality show SIGHTINGS, renowned spiritualist and psychic Peter James, as well as by the many photographs taken by Huckert and Matkowsky. If you had any doubts about the afterlife, then you need to see this story”, says Executive Producer Eric A. Leffler, Director of Business Development for Global Universal Film Group.

In late 1992, two residents living in an old house in the Hills of Los Angeles begin receiving ghostly messages in Polaroid photographs. The pair took many photos inside the house in the hopes of obtaining a picture of the entity they believed haunted the house. Eventually, ghostly images appeared and the men soon discovered that if they asked questions about the entity and why it inhabited their house, words and messages appeared on the photos in response. Since the first messages appeared, many thousands of photos have captured the spirit’s messages on a variety of subjects of interest to mankind. Additional information on Seeing Things can be found at: http://www.drkrm.com/ghost2.html

Daniel Sherkow, COO of Global Universal Entertainment, further commented “Our financing methods, which significantly mitigate investment risk, have certainly been proven sound. Four major motion pictures financed and completed in just eighteen months in this uncertain economy speaks volumes as to our development strategy. The strong interest in our Murder/Horror thriller Plaster Rock, has shown us that this genre is desired by a large segment of the movie-going population. I won’t give away too much of the movie but Seeing Things is based on actual happenings over the past 18 years.”

The state of Michigan has made available tax credits which will underwrite a significant portion of the cost of the production of Seeing Things. GBHL’s first four motion pictures were produced in Canada using the same tax credit, leveraged financing strategy.

New ideas

The newest player is North Carolina entrepreneur Arthur Wylie.

Wylie, 35, built a money management portfolio while in college and parlayed that into a series of investments in movie projects under the firm he created, Global Renaissance Entertainment Group.

He has issued press releases and told Crain’s that he has the intellectual property rights to develop 25 movies, including a deal for books written by novelist Omar Tyree.

Wylie also said he is “in discussions with” Mark Ordesky, producer of “Lord of the Rings.” He has brought the producer to city and county-level meetings.

In October, Wylie formed a joint venture with Las Vegas-based entertainment company Global Entertainment Holdings Inc. (OTC: GBHL). The new company, Global Renaissance Funding L.L.C., according to SEC filings, was formed for the two groups to jointly raise between $20 million and $100 million to finance movies.

Wylie was hired in April by the city in a $125,000 contract to market the site.

However, he said, after touring the site and generating ideas for uses, he is interested in buying part of the space for the production of movies under his Global Renaissance title.

“At this point, I’m very interested in acquiring space in this facility for the production of movies that I’m involved with,” he said.

He said Friday that he has submitted a proposal to buy a “significant portion” of the film campus. He did not disclose the price. Burtka confirmed that the city has received the offer, but did not comment otherwise.

myFOXDetroit.com

ALLEN PARK, Mich. – There new hope for making Allen Park the Hollywood of Michigan. The city has attracted a film school and a new outside investor who’s promising to make more movies.

Arthur Wylie says he stands ready to invest “probably anywhere between a million and two million dollars” to start making movies in Allen Park. He company is called Global Renaissance.

“My real estate broker called me, said we got a facility… here in Detroit, Michigan, Allen Park area, and I think they have everything that you need,” Wylie said. “I said, ‘No, that’s impossible to have everything that I need.’ He said, ‘No, every single thing already ready to go.’”

Then locally, there’s the Center for Film Studies relocating to the same site near Southfield and I-94.

“Center for Film Studies is training people for jobs in the film industry, entry level or technical jobs like grip, lighting, production assistant, set building,” said Mort Meisner with the school.

All which begs the question whatever happened to the much hyped Unity Studios with its watercolor renderings of a studio lot like Warner Brothers.

“Unity has reduced down… the expectation,” said Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano. “We knew there (were) some issues because the county did not offer a Renaissance Zone at that time, which Unity asked for.”

“I don’t want to take anything away from Unity. They still are a tenant on-site. They are current with the dues. I think that it got a little blown out of proportion the entire episode,” said Allen Park Mayor Gary Burtka.

Conversely, Wylie says he’s got big name producers on his side, such as Mark Ordesky, who was an executive producer for the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy of movies.

Allen Park’s mayor tells us that Wylie’s company is not yet a paying tenant on-site. In fact, they’re sort of crashing at the Stautzenberger Institute where people learn how to be personal trainers and massage therapists.

“Arthur Wylie is actually occupying space here,” Burtka said. “They’ve been here for quite some time, and they’re reviewing everything that’s going on here.”

Wylie says filming could begin by year’s end… SEE VIDEO

DETROIT, May 26 /PRNewswire/ — Global Renaissance Entertainment Group Inc. (GREG) will build its movie studios in the Detroit area, CEO Arthur Wylie announced. Wylie Studios has secured commitments from some of Hollywood’s most successful movie producers for six major films to be made at the new facility over the next three years.

Wylie Studios is the latest commitment of Arthur Wylie to the Detroit area. Expanding and combining his Los Angeles, Atlanta and Charlotte operations, he moved the headquarters of Global Renaissance Entertainment Group to Allen Park earlier this year. Wylie Institute for the Study of Entrepreneurship (WISE), a Film and New Media Division is located on the campus of Stautzenberger Institute, also in Allen Park.

“The movie industry is blossoming in Michigan, and we are finalizing our location for a major studio complex to meet the needs of our productions,” Wylie said. ”We have committed our future to movie-making in the Detroit area.”

Michigan is becoming the “hotspot” in American movie production making it the fifth most popular state in the United States for filming. It has the best film incentive in the United States with a tax credit of up to 42 percent of the production company’s expenditures incurred during film production. An estimated $325 million has been generated so far in Michigan with more than 87 major film productions and TV projects creating 7,000 jobs. Films include Gran Torino, Dreamgirls, Transformers, Up In the Air and 8 Mile to name a few. In 2010, three more major studios are expected to open in Michigan with the number rapidly growing.

Wylie said he hopes that GREG can build the studios at Allen Park alongside his corporate headquarters and education institute but there are several attractive options in the downtown Detroit area. “I have never been more thrilled to be part of a project such as this, because in this instance, we can benefit one of the regions hardest hit by the recent recession,” said Wylie. ”We hope to add value to these communities by creating opportunities for local businesses while supporting the education and training required for current and future generations of workers to thrive in industries such as entertainment.”

Among producers currently in discussions with Wylie Studios are Mark Ordesky, executive producer of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Scott Mednick, executive producer of 300 and Superman Returns.

“Detroit is becoming a major film city, and we intend to be a leader as the movie industry grows in Michigan,” Wylie said.
